Hong Jong-hyun (born February 2, )[A] is a South Korean actor and model.[2][3]

Career

Hong began his entertainment career in as a professional model.[4] He made his acting debut in ,[5] and has appeared in the romantic comedy Oh!

My Lady (), sitcomVampire Idol (), followed by supporting roles in Jeon Woo-chi () and Dating Agency: Cyrano ().[6][7] In , Hong was cast in his first leading role in the cable series Her Lovely Heels,[8] followed by the melodramaMama.[9] He also joined the fourth season of reality showWe Got Married, pairing up with Girl's Day member Yura.[10][11]

Hong next starred in the romantic comedy film Enemies In-Law and horror filmAlice: Boy from Wonderland in ,[12][13] followed by historical drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo in [14]

In , he co-starred in historical melo-romance drama The King in Love.[15] In , he was cast in the romantic comedy drama My Absolute Boyfriend, based on the Japanese manga series of the same name.[16] He is also set to star in the time-loop drama film Spring, Again.[17]

In March , Hong is confirmed to star in the weekend drama Mother of Mine.[18]

Hong enlisted for his mandatory service on December 2, [19]

After discharge from military service In October , Hong attended the What We Lost Vol.2 photo exhibition as a photographer.[20]

In , Hong returns to the original TVING drama Stock Struck, after his discharge from the military.[21]

In September , Hong signed with new agency Secret ENT.[22]
