Christian otto mohr biography examples
Christian Otto Mohr ( - ) German civil engineer
Mohr had an interest in the theories of mechanics and the strength of materials.
The idea of a statically determinate structure was formalised by him. He developed the graphical method for analysing stress known as Mohr's circle.
He was also instrumental in developing the Williot-Mohr diagram for truss displacements and the Maxwell-Mohr method for analysis of statically indeterminate structures.
