Jacob Maddox

Jacob Christian Maddox (born 3 November ) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for National League club Yeovil Town.
Club career
Maddox was born in Bristol and began his career with Bristol City, moving to Chelsea at the end of his under year.[3] He moved on loan to Cheltenham Town in July [4] He made his professional debut on the first day of the –19 season, starting the game against Crawley Town.[5]
On 8 August , Maddox joined Tranmere Rovers on a season loan deal.[6][7] After two EFL Trophy appearances the loan was ended on 12 December [8]
Maddox joined fellow Premier League side Southampton on loan on 2 February [9] The contact included an option to buy at the end of the season.
Maddox joined Southampton's Under squad.[10]
On 12 August , Maddox signed a four-year deal at Portuguese club Vitória de Guimarães, ending his seven year stay at Chelsea.[11] He returned to England in July , signing on loan for Burton Albion.[12][13]
In September he signed for Walsall.[14][15] He was released by Walsall at the end of the –23 season.[16]
On 7 August , Maddox signed for Forest Green Rovers on a free transfer.[17]
On 7 January , Maddox had his contract with Forest Green Rovers terminated by mutual consent, allowing him to join fellow National League side Yeovil Town on an eighteen-month contract.[18]
International career
He has been a youth international for England, up to under level.[3] In June , he was selected to represent England at the UEFA European Under Championship.[19]
